East Java also has a shallot production center, namely in the Probolinggo area. Generally, residents of area make living as farmers. The land cultivated agricultural is generally one's own. owned by farmers range 0.25 meters to above 1 hectare. used cultivate horticultural crops, especially shallots. This farmer chose cultivation crops because it high economic value and growing potential. Onion plants are vegetable form bulbs with value, almost every household consumer needs them. can be seasoning cooking or medicine. As result, need for shallots increased so that many onion intensively. Currently, experiencing disturbances due attack moler disease caused fungus Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cepae (FoCe). FoCe causes crops. affect both roots onions. Symptoms rotting they easily removed, leaves drooping, twisting, shriveling, rotting, well there white cause plant die. transmitted from one another through soil.This study was conducted determine development F.oxysporum center Regency. research several sub-districts, Pajarakan District, Gending Dringu District. Data collection on using qualitative data interviews growers. observations impact which common plants. variables asked during interview were symptoms occurs when attacking plants, factors causing spread shallots, attacks obtained then analyzed descriptive describe characteristics pathogen oxysporum. results showed centers Regency, incidence severity disease. internal such selection varieties less resistant presence external tendency not spray fungicides planting. F. observed PDA media taking samples three districts, pajakan, gending drigu, have color at beginning subsequently yellow cream, shaped like cotton circular.
